Challenges in your career
How do we balance work and our personal life? How do we navigate the politics at work? What do I do about feeling like an imposter and not as up to my job as my employer thinks? How do I keep from burning out? How do I deal with conflicts and disagreements at work and with coworkers? What do I do when my outgo exceeds my income?
There are many questions you may face and challenges that confront you in your career. How can we stay motivated? How can we live out all the Bible truths in our lives at work?
Know you are not alone at work or anywhere else
As a child of God, you are never alone. Remember, you are the temple of the Holy Spirit. You find he lives within you. He feels your pain. Your well-being is important to him. He will give you the strength you need. He will keep you from falling. So live in faith in the face of the challenges, knowing that you have all you need in your heavenly Father.
God tells Joshua to trust Him and never let the challenges discourage him because God is with him no matter where he goes. That same promise is true for you.
So, when you are facing challenges, look to the Lord. He is there with you, and He will not leave you alone.
Constantly growing in the inner man.
Life will wear on you. We get older; we get sick, but our inward man should grow and be new every day. Work on your spiritual life. Never let all the challenges of life keep you from Christ. Never let all the junk drive you from Jesus. Grow spiritually. Renew yourself every day.
As you read the verse, notice that it is happening. No matter what happens on the outside, the inside is getting new and newer every day.
Know every day is a new opportunity.
God will always have enough love for you. You can count on that. He has more love than you have challenges. He has more love than you have failures. With his faithfulness, he promises that every day is a new day. You may think you used up all His compassions yesterday, but He has more today.
Always cast your burdens on the Lord.
God loves you. He feels your pain and your hurt. He will meet your needs. His instruction is to cast, to throw, to pitch our worries and challenges on Him. His words assure us we are not alone. He is here helping us right now. He is there, and he will help you.
Know you must wait for the harvest; be patient.
Everything has a season. You are doing right and facing challenges, but that is the season you are in now. He will give you a harvest waiting for you, so do right. Hang in there, and know that he will give you your due in time.
Give it to the Lord.
The word commit here means to roll it onto Jesus. Give it to Him. Put it in His hands. He will accomplish your thoughts when you give them to him. Roll it over, cast it on Him. Commit it to the Lord. Then, sit back and trust the Lord. He will do a work. I know you are facing challenges. I know they are hard. But I also know God is bigger and stronger. If you trust him, he will help you with the challenges.
Keep looking to the Lord.
Keep your eyes on the Lord. As you watch Him, He watches you. If you focus on Him, He will not let you be moved. The challenges will come, but they will not win.
Wait on the Lord. As you wait or trust Him, he will give you strength. You will be tired of the fight; the challenges may push you, but they will not win. You are the victor in Christ. So come on, challenges, and see what happens when I trust God.

Develop genuine friendships that can encourage and give insights into your life.
Be grateful. See what God is doing today.
Know that when you fail, you haven’t finished, nor have you become a failure. You just need to get up, dust off, learn from your experience, and go forward stronger.
