The Apostle Paul makes a brilliant point in Galatians 3:17: a later set of rules cannot cancel a promise God has already made. If I promise my grandson a car, his messy room doesn't change my word.
Yet most of us live as if our "messy rooms" (our lack of consistency) cancel out God’s grace.

Performance says: "I have to." Grace says, "I get to."
Performance looks at your feet. Grace looks at His face.
Performance is a treadmill. Grace is a resting place.
Stop trying to balance the books. Jesus already settled the account.
